The Norwegian Humans Rights Fund

Colombia has been a priority country for the NHRF since 2002. The 40 year long armed conflict has led to grave human rights violations by leftist guerrillas, right-wing paramilitary groups, and by Colombia’s military and police forces. The thematic focus of the NHRF has been the monitoring of human rights violations, improved working conditions for human rights defenders, as well as the fight against impunity and the rights of internally displaced people.
